Physicians
in California will soon get educational materials about the upcoming Medicare
prescription drug benefit to share with their patients, the California
Medical Assn. announced earlier this month. More than 35,000 physician
members in the state will receive an information package about the benefit,
which will be open for enrollment this fall in advance of a January 2006 launch.
